Behind The Back Sportswear is a retail and team apparel store, founded in July 1993, by owner Scott Sites, with the help and guidance of his father-in-law, Mr. H. Together they built the company from the ground up in a small, 10X10 space with 2 rooms, located behind an office building in Severna Park, Maryland. The store has now moved to a bigger location but is still located in Severna Park.

Scott based his company on his father-in-laws 'Old School" values, which made good customer service a priority. Although Behind the Back has grown and moved to a bigger location, it is still dedicated to the same concept of 'Old School," personal and friendly customer service.

While the retail store focuses on lacrosse, field hockey and soccer, the team wear can be customized to fit the needs of any sport or organization. The team wear includes items such as: T-shirts, shorts, sweats, jackets, uniforms, and even promotional products. To ensure the quality of all items, all screen printing and embroidery is done in house, and then checked for correctness before shipped.
